
Core Subject Description: This course introduces students to philosophical reflection as a means to gain a comprehensive understanding of life. Topics include human experiences such as embodiment, social interaction, freedom, intersubjectivity, and mortality. Course objectives are for students to: reflect on their daily experiences holistically, acquire critical and analytical thinking skills, apply these skills to everyday life, become truthful and service-oriented, commit to developing a more humane society, and articulate their personal philosophy of life. By the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate critical and analytical reflection from a holistic perspective.
